Volunteer Information
The Philadelphia Cricket Club is hosting the USGA's 2020 Men's US Amateur Four-Ball Championship, May 20-27, 2020. More than 250 of the finest amateurs in America will converge on the fantastic Wissahickon and Militia Hill courses to crown a new champion in what has become the third most popular USGA Championship (behind the Am and Open). This tournament will be the first USGA national championship hosted at PCC since the 1910 US Open and we are honored the USGA has returned to The Cricket Club. To learn more about the event, click here.
More than 600 shifts (half-day) need to be filled and this is where we need your help and support. The event will put The Cricket Club on a National and International stage and a strong volunteer effort will further PCC's reputation among the finest clubs in America!
Each volunteer will receive a uniform (1 wind-shirt; 1 short-sleeve shirt; 1 hat); access to the Championship grounds all week; food and beverage during your shifts; entry into a drawing for foursomes at The Cricket Club; entry into a drawing for U.S. Open tickets at Winged Foot; and more. There is a nominal fee of $95 to cover these amenities that will be billed to your credit card upon registering to volunteer. Volunteers will be able to signup for a minimum of one half-day shift, or more if your availability/interest permits.
The link below provides what is needed to volunteer for the Championship – simply click on it and follow the prompts. If you could also consider forwarding the link to as many possible volunteer candidates as possible, it would be deeply appreciated. Volunteers must be age 14 or older.
